We are looking for a Procurement Manager Ideally from a interior fit-out & furniture manufacturing background, role will be required in negotiating the best price for goods and services to be used by the company whilst maintaining excellent relationships with their supply chain and driving cost efficiency throughout the business.
Responsibilities:
Manage the interior fit-out works for different sites, including Decor, MEP works and Joinery works. Manage site execution from mobilization to handover.
Observe & understand the requirement to procure as per the requests raised from the Production Unit/ Sites/ Locations.
Instruct and guide site supervisors for all site execution works.Order and follow up with procurement for site and factory material orders
Able to prepare detailed comparison lists in itemized BOQ, compare with budget, compare suppliers compatibility to each other and assess pre-qualifications of vendors
Able to do initial negotiation and present comparison with recommendation to Management for decision
Strong analytical skills, able to understand and interpret the technical data to identify noncompliance in quotations
Strong supplier database for supply and installation Fit out, Furniture, decor items.
Handle a team of Purchase Assistants and Store Keepers on a daily basis.
Experience : minimum 5 to 7 Years of UAE experience as a Procurement Manager in an interiors fit out and furniture manufacturing company.
