The Culture and Diversity Manager will support the HR Director in implementing AMS’ global diversity and inclusion (D&I) strategy to ensure it is integrated into the fabric of AMS culture of Creating Shared Value. The Culture and Diversity Manager will support the AMS teams in creating and delivering initiatives designed to build a culture of inclusion and ensure the long-term sustainability of D&I efforts. The successful candidate will be a champion for D&I, successfully build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, and design and execute creative ways to develop AMS’ approach to D&I as we continue to scale our efforts across multiple countries.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Marketing, Business or equivalent. Professional certification is a plus
- 6-8 years proven work experience within an international business preferably in hostile or post conflict environments
- Possess a broad HR background/understanding
- Minimum 3 years of project management and/or technically relevant work experience
- Proven experience in Diversity, Culture and Inclusion Management roles or a similar background
- Expertise in developing, presenting and implementing Diversity and Inclusion plans
- Experience building and/or reinforcing culture change in a multi-national business
- Shows a committed and proactive approach to diversity and inclusion and to own personal development in this area
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a culturally diverse environment
- Excellent communication, report writing and negotiation skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide professional expertise and support in the design, development and implementation of programs and initiatives that further AMS’ D&I strategy and contribute to creating a more diverse and inclusive workplace
- Support AMS’ Strategy and Communications Teams and serve as a resource in coordinating and aligning communications across multiple channels
- In close collaboration with the HR Director, support drafting of the strategic plan through conducting research, gathering data, and other related activities
- Update and maintain the AMS’s Website and internal Communications regarding all Create Shared Value content
- Assist the HR Director and Talent Development Manager in the planning and delivery of high-quality training, inductions/onboarding, awareness building and other events for internal and external audiences
- Serve as a Ambassador/role model in all CSV areas as directed, between the HR function, Strategic Communications department, Executive Office and other teams
- Assist in responding appropriately and quickly to requests for support from internal and external clients regarding D&I. Manage communications within the D&I team and communications related to D&I across the Executive Team
- Monitor workplan and strategic plan to ensure goals are met in a timely fashion. Report on overall progress to ensure that learning and results are utilized to improve D&I programs and processes
