Role Overview
The Marketing Manager role is to develop and execute Marketing strategies to grow the ASP portfolio working closely with the Business Development & Sales Managers and all other partners. The Marketing Manager is the marketing strategist as well as the product and sterilization & disinfection procedure expert and will coach and instruct the Sales Force on these products and procedures.
The ASP Marketing Manager will work with the internal team, business development and sales managers in order to create, modify and implement Marketing Strategies across Middle East.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Product & Marketing management:
- Analyze the target market relative to the position of the product group to quantify achievable sales and profit potential for the product line
- Develop and recommend short and long-range strategy for the marketing of assigned products. This includes working with country sales managers, business development manager and related partners to identify new product line extension opportunities (Presept, Validation Kits, etc.)
- Prepare and execute Product Launches (Phoenix, Mercury, Apollo, Darwin)
- Support Regulatory department for all registration related activities (MDMA, SGH, etc.)
- Maintain current knowledge of competitive products, processes, promotional activities, and corporate strategies. Develop relationships with industry opinion leaders to anticipate and act on changes in demand and buying behaviors
- Set the pricing strategy for the business unit and ensure the best profitability
- Dedicatedly handle product life cycle for equipment (Sterrad, Adaptascope, etc.) and develop promotional strategies appropriate for the product's life cycle stage
Internal Trainings and Materials
- Provide all the necessary technical and clinical support for sales team and new hires on ASP products
- Ensure marketing material availability and regular communication to the sales team of ASP
Prof-ed Trainings & KOL management:
- Partner mapping and developing of KOLs and CoE in the region
- Support and close follow up for congresses and prof-ed activities across the region and outside
Reporting & Communication with EMEA and Internal Stakeholders
- Provide regular comprehensive reports to the BUD on the progress toward the implementation of the marketing strategy and the overall performance of the business unit
- Liaise and establish regular two-way communication with EMEA
- Provide forecast for product lines and updates throughout the year
- Engagement with HCC, Regulatory Affairs and Quality to ensure compliance with internal policies and Codes of Conduct
- University/Bachelors Degree or Equivalent
- Minimum 3-5 years of Infection Prevention and Sterilization & Disinfection experience with a successful track record
- Generally requires 4-5 years strong track record related experience
- Sales Management and Marketing experience
- Business Planning, Financial Acumen, Tender Management
- Strong Leadership skills, Influencing Ability, Teamwork and Collaboration
- High Emotional Intelligence
- Strong Communication skills
- Strong time management skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks
- Approximately 70% of travel may be required across ME
